Q. When is the ANS 2020 being held?
A. The dates to mark in your calendar are Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August, 2020!

Q. Where is the ANS 2020 being held?
A. The ANS 2020 will be held at Mantra on Salt Beach, Kingscliff, NSW. Check out this amazing location here! For those of you who came to the ANS 2016, it is right next door to Peppers. Both venues are available for accommodation.

Q. Who will be speaking at the ANS 2020?
A. We are bringing you a stellar lineup of speakers for the ANS 2020 – expect to see some of your favourite speakers from the ANS 2016 and 2018, and more! We have Rachel as our program director, so expect nothing less than awesome! Keep an eye on our website and sign up for our email notifications to get all the latest program details. Expected release of program information will be in 2020.

Q. Will I be eligible for CPE points if I attend the event?
A. Yes, delegates will be eligible for CPE points as was the case for the ANS 2016 and 2018 events. More information will be posted on this soon.

Q. How can I become a sponsor or speaker?
A. Well thanks for asking! Please send an email to [email protected] if you are interested in being a sponsor or exhibitor at the event.

Q. Who is organising the ANS 2020?
A. The ANS was founded by three visionary naturopaths: Rachel Arthur, Kathryn Simpson and Nirala Jacobi and ably supported by project manager Nina Woods. Others have recently joined with Rachel, Kathryn and Nina to share the load and the love. While Nirala is not actively involved this time around she continues to support the ANS vision. The new additions to the team are Karla Rawles, Deanne Apostolou, Vicki van der Meer, Julie Wilkinson Flores and Kim Graham.

Tickets

Q. What is included in the ticket price?
A. A ticket will secure your place at the ANS 2020 in the beautiful natural beachside setting of Kingscliff, NSW featuring non-biased and independent education. This will include access to all of the diverse and inspiring presentations given by quality speakers over two and a half days, digital notes of the presentations, delicious catering, a chance to unwind in nature and ‘fill your cup’, the fabulous setting of Mantra on Salt Beach, plus the opportunity to gather and network with others in the naturopathic community. Not included in the ticket price are evening meals, transport, the Gala Dinner or accommodation.

Q. What happens if I purchase a ticket to the ANS 2020 and then can’t go?
A. Tickets are not refundable, but are transferable – we would be sorry to not see you at the event but understand that things come up!

If you wish to transfer your ticket, you can do so using your own networks or you can let others know via the discussion forum on the Facebook ANS 2020 event page

If you transfer the ticket and are on the part payment schedule, you will be responsible for obtaining the funds from the new ticket holder and your account will be the one that the part payments will continue to be drawn from. If you transfer your ticket, please let us know the name and contact details of the new ticket purchaser via: [email protected]

If you wish to relinquish your ticket (instead of organising to transfer it yourself) we can make it available to those who are on our waiting list. The administration fee to relinquish your ticket is $50. Once your relinquished ticket has been purchased by someone on the waiting list, you will receive the money that you paid minus your $50 administrative fee.

Q. What are the payment plan dates?

A. If you opted to pay for your ANS 2020 ticket via payment plan, the 2nd installment of $230 will be deducted from your nominated card on 28th February. The 3rd and final payment ($230) will be taken from your card on 28th May 2020. Please ensure sufficient funds are available.

Q. How do I change my credit card details?
A. If you need to update your credit card details for payment, please log on to our website (press the ‘My Account’ button on the homepage) to update your information there. This is only available on the DESKTOP version of our website (i.e. not from your phone).

Q. What is the Gala Dinner and how can I get a ticket?
The Gala Dinner will be a night of celebration, connection and fun! Watch out for more information coming soon!

Transport, accommodation and food

Q. How can I get to the ANS 2020?
A. The ANS 2020 will be held at Mantra on Salt Beach, Kingscliff, NSW. Access to this beautiful part of the world will depend on where you are coming from and how you would like to travel. Some general information is given below.

Flights and shuttle – Gold Coast Airport: on the weekdays, hourly flights arrive from Sydney and Melbourne, with daily flights also coming in directly from Perth, Auckland, Cairns, Adelaide, Canberra, Geelong, Queenstown and Newcastle. A corresponding number of departures are also available. Multiple daily shuttles are available from the Gold Coast to Kingscliff and car hire and taxi services are also available.

Road trip! If car is your preferred way to travel, the roads are great and the scenery is gorgeous. Carpool with a group of friends, or check in to our Facebook discussion forum on the ANS 2020 event page to connect with others from your area.

Q. What food will be available at the ANS 2020?
A. The ANS 2020 is a catered event (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea) with delicious healthy food and dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options covered!

Q. What accommodation will be available for the ANS 2020?
A. The ANS 2020 is being held at the stunning Mantra on Salt Beach, Kingscliff, NSW. Accomodation is available at the conference location, next door at Peppers Salt Resort, plus there are a number of other options within walking distance. Accommodation package rates have been organised with Mantra on Salt Beach and Peppers Salt Resort. A booking form link has been emailed to all delegates to use to book their accommodation at the discounted rates. If you have not received this information, please contact [email protected]

Q. How can I contact other delegates about carpooling and sharing accommodation etc?
A. Use the discussion forum on the ANS 2020 event page where you can connect with other delegates and organise carpooling, accommodation sharing etc, or drop by and say hi to others who will be attending!

Seed Fund Internship

Q. What is the Seed Fund Internship?
A. An internship has been made available by the ANS to support a naturopathic graduate in a supported and supervised role to refine and further develop their clinical skills within an existing and thriving clinical environment. One of the primary aims of the ANS is to support the naturopathic profession in Australia – the Seed Fund Internship is one of the ways this vision is being put into action. The seed has sprouted!
