Q. Where is the ANS 2020 being held?
A. The ANS 2020 will be held at Mantra on Salt Beach, Kingscliff, NSW. Check out this amazing location here! For those of you who came to the ANS 2016, it is right next door to Peppers.

Q. Who will be speaking at the ANS 2020?
A. We are bringing you a stellar lineup of speakers for the ANS 2020 – expect to see some of your favourite speakers from the ANS 2016 and 2018, and more! We have Rachel as our program director, so expect nothing less than awesome!

Q. Will I be eligible for CPE points if I attend the event?
A. Yes, delegates will be eligible for CPE points as was the case for the ANS 2016 and 2018 events. More information will be posted on this soon.

Q. How can I become a sponsor or speaker?
A. Well thanks for asking! Once the ANS 2020 is confirmed as going ahead, information will be provided regarding opportunities for sponsorship and speaking. The priority at this stage is to ensure that there is sufficient support for the ANS 2020 to be held (through the purchase of tickets, which you can do here!). If you would like to pre-register your interest in being a sponsor or speaker, you can do so via the contact us link on the website – we would love to hear from you! However ensure that you secure yourself a ticket at the LOWEST price they will be offered (which you can do with a $125 deposit) by purchasing a ticket here – speaker and sponsor arrangements will be organised to follow.

Q. What is the ‘Make the ANS 2020 Happen’ campaign about?
A. We have a big vision for the ANS and want to deliver a summit that supports and connects naturopaths everywhere! Organising an event like the ANS is time consuming and costly. We are relying on a dedicated team of volunteers to get this event up and running, therefore we need to know that you are committed to the vision before we get into the really heavy lifting! As an added bonus, tickets purchased during the ‘Make the ANS 2020 Happen’ campaign, will be at the LOWEST price that will be available for the event! If you would like to support the future of the ANS 2020, plus save money on your ticket, you can do so here!

Q. How can I support the ‘Make the ANS 2020 Happen’ campaign?
A. So glad you asked! There are a couple of things that you can do:
1) purchase your ticket to the ANS 2020 as soon as possible (with the added benefit that this is your chance to secure your place at the ANS 2020 at the LOWEST PRICE that will be offered)! During the campaign, you may purchase a ticket in full ($575), or put down a deposit ($125) with two additional payments of $230 to be paid 4 and 5 months after you paid your initial deposit. An administration fee of $5 has been applied to each part payment.
2) spread the word across your naturopathic network to encourage others to buy a ticket too!

Q. Who is organising the ANS 2020?
A. The ANS was founded by three visionary naturopaths: Rachel Arthur, Kathryn Simpson and Nirala Jacobi and ably supported by project manager Nina Woods. Others have recently joined with Rachel, Kathryn and Nina to share the load and the love. While Nirala is not actively involved this time around she continues to support the ANS vision. The new additions to the team are Karla Rawles, Deanne Apostolou, Vicki van der Meer, Julie Wilkinson Flores and Kim Graham.

Q. Can I still attend the ANS 2020 if I am a nutritionist or herbalist?
A. Absolutely, we would love you to come along! The ANS is an event that has much to offer nutritionists and herbalists. After all, we are family! We all come from the same roots, we just grow alongside each other. Naturopaths, nutritionists and herbalists have attended past events and came away very inspired – we loved hearing the positive feedback from those who attended!

Tickets

Q. Where can I get a ticket?
A. Tickets can be purchased during the ‘Make the ANS 2020 Happen’ campaign right here either in full ($575) or with a $125 deposit (with 2 further payments of $230 to be paid 4 and 5 months after you paid your initial deposit). An administration fee of $5 has been applied to each part payment. This is the lowest price that tickets for the two and a half day event will ever be offered, so now’s the time to jump in!

Q. How much does a ticket cost?
A. During the ‘Make the ANS 2020 Happen’ campaign, tickets are available for a total of $575 for the two and a half day event. The team has worked hard to keep the event affordable! You may purchase the ticket in full, or you have the option of paying a deposit to secure your ticket at the lowest price that will ever be offered – to take advantage of this offer and to show your support and ensure the ongoing future of the ANS, purchase your ticket here! If you decide to put down a deposit, the initial cost will be $125, with two further payments of $230 to be paid 4 and 5 months after you paid your initial deposit. An administration fee of $5 has been applied to each part payment.

Q. What is included in the ticket price?
A. A ticket will secure your place at the ANS 2020 in the beautiful natural beachside setting of Kingscliff, NSW featuring non-biased and independent education. This will include access to all of the diverse and inspiring presentations given by quality speakers over two and a half days, digital notes of the presentations, delicious catering, a chance to unwind in nature and ‘fill your cup’, the fabulous setting of Mantra on Salt Beach, plus the opportunity to gather and network with others in the naturopathic community. Not included in the ticket price are evening meals, transport, the Gala Dinner or accommodation.

Q. Do I need to pay the full price for my ticket straight away?
A. During the ‘Make the ANS 2020 Happen’ campaign you can purchase your ticket at the discounted rate, or if you prefer, you can pay a deposit of $125 and part pay your ticket with two $230 additional payments, to be paid 4 and 5 months after you paid your initial deposit. An administration fee of $5 has been applied to each part payment.

Q. What happens if I purchase a ticket to the ANS 2020 and then can’t go?
A. Tickets purchased as part of the ‘Make the ANS 2020 Happen’ campaign are not refundable, but are transferable – we would be sorry to not see you at the event but understand that things come up! Once the future of ANS 2020 has been confirmed through your support, an online ‘community noticeboard’ will be set up on the website where ticket transfers can be organised…or just to say hi and let others know you are coming! If you do transfer your ticket, please contact us at [email protected] with your booking details to let us know of the change.

Q. What if I purchase a ticket to the ANS 2020 and it doesn’t go ahead?
A. If the ANS 2020 does not receive sufficient support through reaching a threshold of ticket sales through the ‘Make the ANS 2020 Happen’ campaign, all monies paid will be refunded in full.

Q. Can I purchase a one day ticket rather than attending for the full three days?
A. At this stage, as part of the ‘Make the ANS 2020 Happen’ campaign, only tickets for the full event are available. One day tickets may be made available for purchase if the campaign is successful and the future of the ANS 2020 secured. But, if you love the concept and vision of the ANS don’t delay! Without your support now the ANS 2020 may not happen.

Q. Are you offering student discounts?
A. At this stage, as part of the ‘Make the ANS 2020 Happen’ campaign, tickets are on sale at the LOWEST price that they will ever be offered ($575 for the full purchase price). Student tickets may be available at a later date if the event goes ahead, however they will not be at a lower price than is currently being offered through the ‘Make the ANS 2020 Happen’ campaign. Therefore, to ensure that you get the best possible deal on your ticket, and at the same time to show your support for this event, purchase your ticket now! You may purchase your ticket at the discounted ‘Make the ANS 2020 Happen’ rate of $575, or pay a deposit of $125 with two additional payments of $230 to be paid 4 and 5 months after you paid your initial deposit. An administration fee of $5 has been applied to each part payment.

Q. Should I wait until closer to the event before purchasing a ticket?
A. You could do that, but why wait? Now is the time to show your support for the ANS and to contribute to ensuring that the ANS 2020 will happen. Waiting to purchase a ticket puts the future of the ANS 2020 at risk! As well as being able to secure the future of the ANS, as an added bonus if you purchase your ticket now (either by paying a deposit or the discounted campaign price) you will be able to get it at the lowest price that it will ever be offered (saving $120 on what will be the ticket price after the ‘Make the ANS 2020 Happen’ campaign)!

Seed Fund Internship

Q. What is the Seed Fund Internship?
A. An internship has been made available by the ANS to support a naturopathic graduate in a supported and supervised role to refine and further develop their clinical skills within an existing and thriving clinical environment. One of the primary aims of the ANS is to support the naturopathic profession in Australia – the Seed Fund Internship is one of the ways this vision is being put into action. The seed has sprouted!
