Monica Francia

Monica has a strong ethic and values base for her practice and moved to Hobart to work at Goulds Natural Medicine as a Naturopath, Nutritionist and Herbalist, where she resonates with the ‘farm to apothecary’ ethical focus. Monica specialises in menstrual and reproductive health and recently trained as a teacher in Natural Fertility. She has a passion for community engagement, health justice and improving social access to natural medicines, in particular addressing the health needs of LGBTIQA+ folk and their interactions with health practitioners. She runs community workshops and talks, is the chapter coordinator for Hobart Herbalists Without Borders, a member of Radical Herbalists Australia and a committee member of Indigenous Plants for Health Inc. In her spare time, Monica loves to experiment in the kitchen with meals and weird ferments and hiking in the Tassie Wilderness.
