With a history of environmental activism, Sally Mathrick is passionate about the living interconnection of life on the planet. She works to enhance both personal health and planetary wellness, drawing upon Deep Ecology and naturopathic concepts to empower individuals to instigate healthy changes in their lives that ripple out to the collective. Under her business, Sound Medicine, Sally is a practising Naturopath and runs a fasting, healing and yoga retreat each year. Sally is also a lecturer at Southern School of Natural Therapies and has formulated comprehensive wellness courses that educate about whole health improvement. In addition, Sally is a widely published writer, contributing to the 4th edition of Braun & Cohen and self-publishing two e-books, ‘Sparkle Wellness & Detox Guide’ and ‘Treating Kids Naturally’ and wrote over 100 popular press articles, including the “DIY Detox” column for WellBeing Australia Magazine for 8 years. She has been awarded a Fellowship from The Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine and is a board member of the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia.
